Hearing God’s Voice.

We live in a very busy world, we are always wondering why we cannot hear God’s voice, and at some point wondering, why God is not speaking, let me tell you He is speaking you are too busy to get quiet to listen to Him.
God speaks in different ways to each one of us, For Mosses He had to bring him  to the top of the mountain to speak to him thru a burning bush, He spoke to Balaam thru a donkey, He spoke to the kings in the old testaments threw the Prophets. Today He speaks to us threw The Holy Spirit, threw other believers, threw circumstances and threw His word.
In the book of Ezekiel, Ezekiel He said in chapter 3 vs. 22,” The hand of the Lord was upon me there, and He said to me, get up and go to the plain, and there I will speak to you”
The word plain means a quite place, a place of no distractions, no other people there to bother you; It is a place of silence. A place with no luxuries or a place where you may go to be alone with Him and seek His face.
A plain can also be a place where you discover a fresh that God’s hand has been upon us as we live our busy life, in our busyness we sometimes forget that His hand is upon us, and that He is gently leading our path, when our lives are so busy that we are not listening or responding to His gentle touch, we will do whatever it takes to get our attention. So the Plain is one of these times of one on one talk with Him. No distractions, no people, no beautiful surroundings to capture our thoughts. It is a barren place designed to allow us to seek and hear clearly. When He speaks, we need to be able to listen. We can hear much better in the plain.
So if you are hungering to hear His voice today, I believe  God is calling you to your own plain in order for Him to speak to you and for us to hear Him. So find a plain where you can hide with Him and have one on one heart to heart conversation.
