Taking back your heart for Him.

John15:1-5
“I am the true vine, and My father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me does not bear fruit, he takes away, and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches, he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

The most important thing to remember as we step into the new year, is that in order to bear fruit for the Lord we must learn to abide in Him. You don’t want to just work or be busy, this coming year, but you want to be about your Father’s business. So we must make Jesus our example in this coming year, only do what He tells us to do.

Let me tell you that one moment of abiding in the Lord is worth more than a lifetime of your own effort.

God wants us to learn His compassion for the world that does not know Him. He is not looking for you to have human sympathy, but the compassion of God. Human sympathy feeds on self-pity that is one of the greatest destroyers of human character and fruitfulness. Self pity is self centeredness, and it is opposite of faith.

Do you remember when God called Moses, to 'go and deliver the Israelites'? Moses started to look at all his short comings, instead of looking at the purpose of God’s calling, to some this would look like great humility, but it was a great demonstration of pride. Moses was elevating his condition above God’s ability.

This kind of false humility robs many of their purpose.

To correct Moses, God told Moses to throw down his staff on the ground, that staff represented his authority and purpose as a Sheppard. After Moses threw it down, it turned into a serpent that chased him, until he picked it up again.

I want to encourage many of you that have cast down your calling and are running away from them. They will be like a serpent chasing you until you pick them up again.

Friends the Kingdom is getting closer, the Lord has a need of you. So let this coming year be a year of abiding in Him, and look at Him, not your inadequacies.

Let the coming year cause you to mature more in Him, because there are secrets that He wants to revel for the end-times, you need know that you are not here to do what you want to do, or what you think is important, you are here to do His will, and hope you can make that change in you.

Let’s look at Galt 6:1 “Brethren, even if a man is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such one in a spirit of gentleness’, each one looking to yourself, lest you too be tempted.”

When we do things for the Lord we must do it in the right spirit, not thinking of ourselves as better than others, but rather considering themselves – that they too can be tempted. We should also restore those that have fallen. Always show mercy, and walk in mercy, our God is a merciful God.

In my walk with the Lord, I have fallen and come short, because of lack of mercy or grace towards others, and I have come to find out that these things are very grievous to the Lord. So never get an attitude that you are the only one, most faithful or Righteous.

My friend, understand all pride will lead to a fall, but learn to abide in Him and let the next year be fruitful for His Kingdom.

We are thankful for your making this year possible for us to do the ministry. We pray that you will find a deeper relationship with our Lord during this holiday season. It has been a great joy and honor to join with you in laboring for His Kingdom.

Our work in the Kingdom is not possible without you standing with us prayerfully and financially.
