The Great Feast

I was thinking about how we are all imagin sitting at the Lord’s banqueting table. I believe the hour is at hand, that the Lord is coming to show forth His glorious Kingdom to His Bride. He has been preparing a great feast, and will gather His own to His table, where He will feed them the riches of His living word, and give them new wine of the Kingdom.

This feast is not for those who are still in worldliness and sin, but is a feast for those who are His servants and have been through fire. He is wanting to do this, before the great Harvest feast of the in gathering takes place. God has been preparing His Kingdom saint, to rule and reign with Him, when the kingdom of Heaven is openly established on the earth.

I know that the Lord has given some a “Preview” and a ‘taste “of the powers of the age to come. The mysteries of the Kingdom, have been hidden, and are now being unlocked and revealed to humble, simple-hearted believing ones, who He calls babes, and He thanks the Father that He had hidden these thing from the wise and prudent, and is revealing to the babes.

See the spirit is now revealing these mysteries of the Kingdom to those who are willing and able to receive them.

The best way to look at the feast that the Lord is preparing is to turn your bibles to The book of Esther 1: 3, 4
3”and  in the third year of his reign he gave a banquet for all his nobles and officials. The military leaders of Persia and Media, the princes, and the nobles of the provinces were present",
4 "For a full 180 days he displayed the vast wealth of his kingdom and the splendor and glory of his majesty"

The king puts up a great feast, this king reigned over a great and far-reaching kingdom, he made a special feast for his princes and subjects. In his heart was a great desire to reveal the riches and glory of his kingdom.

I believe that our Lord has the same desire to reveal to His Bride His riches and Glory. The royal feast was held in the court of the garden of the king’s palace. In the Song of Solomon this court refers to as the ‘banqueting House’ or ‘house of wines.”

What a privilege to enter into the King’s hidden garden, the Fragrance of the beautiful flowers, the birds singing, beautiful melodies, all tend to entrance the one whose feet tread the path of the sacred, hidden, enclosed Garden of the King.

Song of Solomon 2:4
"He brought me to the banqueting house and his banner over me was love.”

The Lord wants to bring us to His banqueting House, so that we can see His beauty. His beauty is His Love. When we look around we see a lack of Love, in ourselves or in others. Apostle John made it clear that walking in the light is “WALKING IN LOVE” We would like to convince ourselves that walking in the light is not important. "He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until Now" (1john 1:9).

Such a man does not even know where he is going. “Because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.” There is no neutral here. We may admit on one hand there is not much love, and on the other hand claim that we do not hate. Love is light, and the absence of the light means darkness. If there is no genuine Love, God calls it Hate.

We are inclined to think we know what Love is. And therefore its great potential scarcely stirs us. It is nothing less than the very realm of God, abiding in Him, and participating in His own heart of longsuffering, kindness, humility, meekness, unselfishness, and truth, ”When that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.”

Won’t Heaven be wonderful”? Says One. God wants us to establish this perfection of Love here on the earth where it is needed today.

Let’s go back to the feast. The vessels chosen for the kings table were of pure wrought Gold, And wine was poured in those vessels, overflowing, first upon the household and servants, then to the multitudes. So Lord will pour new wine to His household and servants.

Turn to Matt 26:29.

Remember at the last supper Jesus took the cup and said “But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s Kingdom”?

The King will only choose Golden vessels for the royal feast, vessels that have been put through the fire, melted and molded and fashioned by His own hand, purged and prepared.

For many years He has been seeking out vessels. In the Book of Esther we also see that when the king was having a feast, the Queen Vashti also made a feast, but at her tables were many who belonged to the organized worldly church. The king had invited her to come, but she refused. Because of that she was set aside and lost her right to reign with him.

In the same way our modern churches are feeding the multitudes upon man-made philosophies and doctrines, feeding stale, moldy, tasteless bread.

Friends the Kingdom of God is at hand, and He is even now calling us to a great feast. The vessels of gold are being placed upon the table ready for the outpouring wine, So don’t refuse His invitation, don’t be set aside and not be able to reign with Him, when His Kingdom is established on this earth.
