Turn your bibles to Isaiah 21:11 “Burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night? Dumah cried out of his burden, concerned about the night hour, where is your burden are you crying out of it, or just following the stream.”

See God's true prophets and ministers are suppose to be like watchman on the wall, to inform the people, just as there were watchman in a war, to warn the people of the enemy.

My dear friends the enemy has been at our door, and it is time to wake up from our sleep because there is great deal of work to be done. We have been long a sleep in Sin, and security.

It is time to rise, to awake out of sleep.

The spirit of God is stirring.

It seem we are in a long dark night.

You may ask is there any hope of the day dawning?

Yes, firstly we must never be secure.

We are in a time where many are making curious inquiries of the watchmen. They are looking for nice questions solved, or difficult prophecies interpreted; but we are not seeking into the state of our own souls, about the  testimony of the Lord.

We are in a time of change.

We must ask for wisdom to improve the morning that will come after a dark night. We urged ourselves to change quickly, for there is no time to waste. Those that return and come to God, will find they have a great deal of work to do, and but little time to do it in.

I had a dream a couple of days ago, and in my dream, my front door was knocking and I ran to open it, and as I opened it I saw bunch of people outside dressed like Barbarians, alarmed I shut the door and ran back into my house, and then I heard the still voice of the Lord saying they are at the door of my church, and My Church is not prepared and if they don’t wake up they will be taken by surprise, even my elite.

So my question to you is What are you seeing?

I see a false buffer of "self" going on.

It is so true that everyone wants the benefit of the Cross, but no one wants to be crucified. Everyone wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die. Everyone wants Jesus to change them, but no one wants to die to self.

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:8).

This false buffer of self, strengthens believing in our strength, rather than in the Lords. We are so dependent on our ways, saying we have been here before, we know what to do.

My dear friends, I see trouble coming with a grief that really will vex our souls. You don't want to see that, Trust me.  And while everyone feels like they have done a good thing by praying, and I believe some did, I am also seeing an uncircumcised heart in the Body.

When Moses brought the people out of Egypt, the Lord asked him, to have the people circumcise their hearts, so they can get Egypt out of them. Many are in the church today, but their hearts are not circumcised.

Let me share with you, when I was in the world, I thought I was a good man and did not need God. I use to think “ I am a good person, People like me, I have friends. It was all my pride. There are many today in churches that feel this way.

Ezekiel went through this.  He was sitting around like everyone else in the crowd until he had a visitation from God and then he returned in the heat of his anger.  After his visitation, he saw injustice!

Understand, he was basically a good guy too, easy to get along with, agreeable, nice, but then he acquired a holy anger after a visitation from the Most High.

See, before God comes along, we are basically content with what we are doing. We think “I will go along and if I mess up, it is ok I will try harder the next time.” We don't have time to try, we are in Battle for His Kingdom.

Today there is no conviction, no awareness of condemnation. In our time condemnation is pretty ugly thing. Many think that God has set us free from that, but how did it get here in the first place?

We think if someone does something wrong, we will just tune them out of our lives and go on living in our own righteousness.

Oh yes, some of us still think that way!

But what we don't understand, is that God wants a peculiar people.  We can’t settle for anything goes, and all is well. We are being required to be accountable to the Lord.

How many of you, are masters of your own ship, thinking you can be anything you want to be, do anything you want to do, and after a while you have a rude awakening, that it is not so?

Remember whatever we sow, is what we will reap.

Many are still running after success.

Have you ever thought what is that for? It is for doing our own thing. We are not caring for His Kingdom. We see the world and society getting worse and worse. And we are doing nothing.

The same way is happening with the church. We are becoming more and more party goers, striving for success than burden bearers.

By now some of you, as you are reading this are saying, “oh here is another doom and gloom pastor.”

My friend this must be our cry to “awaken the body” for it sleeps, because God wants us to be His burned bearers.

Today we have hard hearts in our midst, and we think we don't.  We say we care, as to where things are, but rather than making a change we toss a few coins to a worthy cause.

But our heart is not fully following. We are too busy going our own way and because of that, God has taken away the understanding from many of our leaders.

Turn to Job 12:24 - “He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, And makes them wander in a pathless wilderness.”

And so if you believe that God is doing that, have you asked yourself the question as to why is He doing that?

Many believe He is!

WHY is He doing that?

Why is He blinding  us?

Why are we wandering to and fro and looking for answers in so many places?

It is because we are not seeing HIM!

We have taken things for granted, and depended on our own way rather than the ways of the Lord. We go through the motions, we think we are good people, we really believe that, but God says we are falling short!!!

"Haven't we been here before?" we say in our hearts. "Don't we know how to handle this thing?" but yet we are surprised and shocked at what  is happening in our midst, in our lives and churches, it is almost at our doorstep.

While we are being blinded and doing our own things our way, the enemy is creeping in, through the gate.  We think life is a party and like one person shared, the table is spread, the Marriage Supper has come!

But what is being served is skewered Lamb!

Don’t we think we are the special ones, the chosen ones. Are we not God’s favorite, and we walk in His great favor, we say to ourselves, “lets us confess up some more, you know that our words have power, and they create!! Our words have power, they conjure!”  Oh God, help us!!!

Some of you are really feeling this as I write and are crying out, "What!  What!  What must I do???"

He answers from Joel 2:12 "Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to ME with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:  13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil."

He wants us to fast and weep, for a circumcised heart or tender heart towards Him and His ways. We need to remove the callousness, that is making us insensitive.

If you don’t, then God will do it for you. Do you remember the story of  Pharaoh and his kingdom, God took away the first born sons.  Only then would he let Israel go.  (He thought he owned them, but God said no.)

The fear of the Lord is knowing something can happen and you can be grateful it didn't happen to you, but when it does happen to someone, you need the appropriate response.

But HEAR THIS...if this hardness to the ways of the Lord continues, The Lord will have to purge His Church.

Who has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear what the spirit is speaking to the church.

The Lord wants us to stand with Him in this time. Ask the Lord for His wisdom in handling His kingdom responsibilities. We need our hearts softened.

If we don’t the sin in our church and nation will continue.

He has called us to be a house of prayer. He wants us to be strong. Look at I Samuel 4:9 and you'll read:  "Be strong and conduct yourselves like men, you Philistines, that you do not become servants of the Hebrews, as they have been to you. Conduct yourselves like men, and fight!"

The Israelites knew that the enemy was attacking them, they cared enough that they may not be taken over, but they did not understand the Love of God for them. However we know that He is love, and know that He is on our side, let us rightfully take what is ours through the work of the cross.

Finally, remember Esau gave up his divine birthright for a pot of stew!  Later when he wanted it back, with tears he could not get it. It's a fearful thing to offend God.  We must be stewards over his Kingdom. One day we will stand before Him accountable. “Awaken O Bride of Christ to your calling to be like Him and in Him. Be ye transformed in this time, not when you are in heaven, but now.”

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
