ENTERING INTO 2010

As I was waiting on the Lord in December 2009 asking Him for some insights for 2010. One day I felt in my heart that 2010 is going to be different and The Lord lead me to Isaiah 43:19 “Behold I am doing a new thing, now it springs forth, do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it, I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

I stayed on that word for a few days and kept saying a new thing, that means letting go of all old things, all old ways of doing everything and looking forward to the new things.

So when 2010 came along, I was reading the Jews calendar and I saw a comparison with 2010, I realize that is not another new year but it is a new 10year cycle. This year is going to be the most transitional intensive year of the next decade; It will be a year when God will bring our lives into divine order. So in order for our lives to come in to order we must line up with the agenda of God for this coming year, this year will determine the next 10years of our lives.

We cannot live this year with last year’s season, with last year’s mantles, or our old ways of thinking. But we are going to have to hear from heaven, what He wants. There is going to be a time of pruning our trees to make room for the fresh growth. So start asking Him and start to listen. I know many ask Him for many things but never take time to listen, that’s just the way we are, with our busy lives. So may be it is time to prune some things in our lives and sit at the master’s feet and listen to Him.

Ask yourself a question –Is your life a walk with God or a walk with a strategic plan- is it an adventure of faith or a blue print that you put together, I have learnt in my own walk with the Lord, that He does not give us the whole plan at once, but He delights to communicate directions, His heart, His plans, His comfort. Many people don’t take time to walk with Him, they have this concept that God only speaks through His word, and He will give me a chapter and a verse from the Bible. See the one’s that want to live a life full of power must combine both aspect of preparation, reflection and supernatural direction.

So let this year be full of preparation and reflecting on what the Lord is saying and I promise you it will make room for you to have heavenly dialogged with Him. Some of you might be wondering and saying I can’t hear God when He speaks- God speaks in many ways if you will take God out of your Box and let Him be who He is, He will speak, thru a picture, His word, a dream, a vision, a song, a thought, don’t limit yourself.

In John 10:27”My sheep hear my Voice’ Are you His sheep. So if you are, then you can hear him. When you get with God get yourself a book or a journal, and write down what he is showing or speaking, In hab2:12 The prophet Habakkuk said ‘ I WILL STAND MY WATCH, AND WATCH TO SEE WHAT HE WILL SAY TO ME “Then the Lord answered him and said “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets.”Recognize that God also speaks in Impressions, Images, pictures and visions. The eyes of your heart are able to see. Have you being in a place of worshiping the Lord and His presence comes and fills you, all of a sudden you become still and waiting for Him to speak or say something, see you went from doing to being. And in those moments you might get a picture or a image from heaven, you may not understand, don’t push it way, ask the holy spirit to show you.

We must walk in obedience with the things of God not by our own abilities and skills; let Him share with you His plans. Let us look at 1Chronicles 14:15, before we read it, you Know that King David is at war with the Philistines who have raided the valley and David has won wars before rather than going after them, he goes to the Lord and asks Him what he should do Vs 15 says “And when you hear a sound or marching in the Mulberry or Balsam tree then go out to battle, for God has gone out before you to smite the Philistine host.

See King David was a well trained warrior, yet his greatest dependency was on God to direct his efforts. Every time he would win a battle, he would go back to the Lord and asking what he should do next. David was not operating in his skill or ability, he was always seeking the plan of God’s will in every matter, for many of you, the Lord wants to take you to the next level, He wants you not to depend on how you did things last year, God has a different plan than ours. I want to encourage you that let 2010 be a year of moving into the new with Him.

Daniel 12:4”But you Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end, Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.” The scrolls are about to be opened to those that will seek Him, we don’t need more knowledge what we need is more revelation. For many your wilderness will become a fruitful place if you will step in with God and let Him Prepare you, always encourage yourself in the Lord.

I want to say this to you that this year we must leave the Church age(which has been an age of compromise) and step into the “Kingdom Age”(total submission to God)And you will find yourself walking in the Kingdom with Kingdom Authority, but don’t for with this kind of authority also come great adversities.Romans5:3,4 “ And not only that but also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance and perseverance, character and character, hope. So when the enemy comes don’t fear, the Lord will come to us in His Glory.

So Confess Isaiah 60:1,2 “ Arise shine for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you, For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people but the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you”

Allow the Lord to equip you, trust Him, and walk in the Glory, and grow in your authority, It is your Destiny.
