Come up hither

Rev 4:1 ‘After this I looked and behold, a door was opened in heaven, and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me, which said “Come up hither” and I will show thee things which must be hereafter”

Why did the Lord say “Come up Hither’ see in order for John to see the full glory of the Lord in the most Holy Place, John had to move higher in the spirit? Many today want the Lord to show them greatest things in Him, but they never move higher in the spirit, the bible tells us that John was in the spirit on the Lords day when he heard the voice of the Son of man walking in the midst of the lamp stand. See when we gather for our services the Ministers are to bring us into a place of His throne, still higher than we are now. See when John heard the voice; he was there at once at the source of the fountain Head of all Glory that he had seen before.

He was in the realm of pure light, In the Holy Place- where there was a holy ray coming out, which I believe were all the gifts-See we need a supply of the spirit that He has given us, to bring us words of wisdom and knowledge and new measures of faith and understanding. We need those gifts of healing, and discerning spirits. All these gifts are like rays of light from the most Holy Place. We must have the light of glory to shine threw us into this world.

Do you remember the story of Ruth, she was thankful to be able to glean in the fields of Boaz, whose name means” In him is Strength” See Boaz was strong on behalf of the servant girl from Moab. He told the reapers to leave handful of grain on the ground for Ruth to gather, this was generous of him. But when he promised to be her Kinsman Redeemer, he gave her six measures of barley, so she would not have to glean it from the fields- see we must be thankful for “every good and perfect gift, He gives us- where we glean it with hard work, or simply pours it into our bags.

He wants to bring us higher, beyond the place of receiving gifts, He wants us to give ourselves to Him, as Ruth did-He wants to receive us unto Himself, as Boaz received Ruth.

We consider our call and our ministry holy, it is more Holy to be in place of union with Him who “ Dwells between the Cherubim” we are thankful for the gifts, but “God’s purposes fall far short of His desire, if we are always looking for  the more excellent way of relationship with Him, where we live together in the same home.’ His desire is that we dine with Him and Him with us”

John17;23 says “I in them, thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one”  when I read this today and I pondered this I in them and thou in me, I realized what the Lord was saying , we only think of having Jesus in us, but if we are in Him totally, then not only Jesus but the Father is in us to.

God wants to bring us into greater depths in the spirit, he is calling us to come higher in the spirit, there are realms of God we will never be able to see if we don’t come up higher in our spirit, not in our walk , not in our understanding, not in our knowledge, but higher in our spirit . Will you do that today.
